Why volunteer?
Volunteering at Nazareth and becoming a member of the Nazareth team offers a unique opportunity to put your special talents to work for the good of others in an innovative and person-centered environment. Working in an atmosphere of resident care, volunteers have the opportunity to learn and grow as they provide service to others.
Nazareth currently has over 100 volunteers who provide many types of services to better our community. Each of our volunteers is respected as volunteer employees. We would not be the caring, compassionate community we are today without our dedicated volunteers.
What can volunteers do?
Nazareth volunteers provide an important role by assisting staff in delivering a wide range of services for residents. Our flexible volunteer program provides many options and opportunities that are tailored to fit an individual’s interests, abilities, and schedule.

Putting Your Creative Talents to Work
Are you artistic? Do you like to sew? Are you able to do woodworking, crochet, knit, quilt, embroider, paint or enjoy another means of artistic expression? Nazareth is the place for you! We would love to invite you to join other artistic volunteers to create items to be sold in our gift shop.
Staff the Gift Shop
We have a beautiful gift shop/ice cream parlor and we need volunteers to help with staffing. Our volunteers sell beautifully, hand-made items, Ice cream and snacks. We also stock the shelves, price the items, engage with residents and families and make everyone feel welcomed. Join us in providing this service to Nazareth Living Center.
Spiritual Care Ministry
Are you looking for an opportunity to provide spiritual care for residents? We have many ways that you can help. Some of these services might include transporting residents to daily mass or activities, providing companion services, reading, playing cards, writing letters, providing assistance with dining and more. Some spiritual care volunteers serve as Eucharistic Ministers. If spiritual care is your calling, Nazareth is your answer.
How can I become involved?
Your level of involvement is entirely up to you. We value and appreciate your time, talent and effort and look forward to your joining the Nazareth Volunteer team!

Outstanding Establishment
My brother and sister-in-law joined the “Nazareth Family” in March 2009. My brother passed away in August 2010 and my sister-in-law died in March 2016.
The care, concern, love and affection they both received at Nazareth was truly outstanding. From the very first day they arrived the entire staff did an excellent job in making their time at Nazareth most comfortable and enjoyable.
I could write volumes praising Nazareth Living Center and I would give it the highest rating possible. Nazareth Living Center is a holy, happy and healthy environment and may God continue to bless Nazareth in the future
