Palliative and Hospice Care
Palliative care teams specialize in treating people suffering from the symptoms and stress of serious illnesses. They provide a separate level of care in coordination with the doctors and nurses to set goals for recovery, communicate with patients and family and manage the stresses of the illness or injury. We integrate some of our special uniquely Nazareth services with this level of care.
When the quality of life for a long term care resident declines significantly, hospice care can be provided. Hospice care focuses exclusively on the comfort level of the patient.

Services included in the daily rate:
- 24-hour personalized nursing care
- Three delicious meals served daily
- Social, recreational and cultural programs
- Music Therapy provided by a licensed professional

- Pastoral care services
- Daily Catholic Mass

Additional services and conveniences are available for a charge, including:
- Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy
- Beauty and barber services

- Guest meals
An additional fee per day will be assessed for residents requiring disproportionate care with the following activities: toileting, bathing, feeding, transferring and dressing.

Wonderful Home
My aunt spent many wonderful days at Nazareth, as a patient getting physical therapy and then as a full-time resident. The caregivers were all personable, devoted, and truly involved in their work with the residents. They knew my aunt well and catered to her wants and needs. We felt blessed that her last days were spent at Nazareth. When she passed, the nuns filled the hallways, singing hymns. It was such a spiritual experience, as was her memorial service in the chapel at Nazareth. I would highly recommend this facility.
